What is the point of all of this?

What is the point of anything? To satisfy a desire. In this case, that means sharing personal stories, thoughtful essays, photo journals, observations, and poetry about life. My Name Is Not Nicholas Chopper will be a place where I can provide a source of leisure or entertainment for those who are looking for something deeper than scrolling through a dopamine/norepinephrine-triggering feed of memes, thirst traps, and the equivalence of QVC meets The Pickup Artist featuring a side of rage bait. Nothing wrong with a little fun but we can do better than that. Or at least I’ll try.

As for a biography, that will come as the story unfolds. Who I am and what I am about is of trivial importance, only the potency of what is posted here matters.
